Reviews about Lenin Park

Davidmlowe said that:
Not the best of parks tbh but a great spot to people watch especially of an evening. Locals are to be seen exercising in a variety of ways including yoga, martial arts, and salsa dancing.
David said that:
Ho Chi Minh arrived in Moscow in 1923 after studying in France. There he met Lenin and came under his influence, subsequently transporting Lenin's Communistic style back to his native Vietnam.
Any traveler or tourist in Vietnam today would be hard pressed from the evidence on the street to know that Vietnam is now a Communist state, because it has all the trappings of capitalism and free enterprise.
Lenin might well turn in his grave, but nevertheless he is still honoured in Hanoi with this quiet oasis, comprising tall shade trees, lawns, bushes, flower beds and a large bronze statue of V.I. Lenin himself.
Appropriately the park is on Dien Bien Phu Street, named after the place of the final battles in which the Vietnamese eventually defeated the French, gained independence and established a Communist state.
Oldjack said that:
This is a dcent park on Dien Bien Phu Street opposite the Citadel and the Military Museum and provides a pleasant piece of green in the city. It also [rovides and open space for the Lenin Statue , a reminder of the Communist past of Vietnam
